How to make Kesavardhini Hair oil for long healthy hair – Recipe

False daisy kesavardhini hair oil

There are various herbal plants that can reduce hair fall and improve growth of hair. But the queen of all these herbs is Kesavardhini also known as False Daisy. This plant can promote long and lustrous hair when applied as a hair pack or a hair oil. The recipe here shows how to make Kesavardhini hair oil at home in under 20 minutes.

The plant grows in different climatic conditions and is hence available in most parts of the plant. You can make this a part of your home garden and use the fresh leaves to make this hair oil. but if the fresh leaves aren’t available, many native medicine shops sell the dried leaves in powder form which can also be used to make the oil.

I usually apply the oil, leave it on for about 30 minutes and wash off with a herbal homemade shampoo. You can do this twice a week. Or, you can apply about two teaspoons of the oil everyday on your scalp and leave it on. The second method is more effective.

Store the oil in a cool, dark place. The oil will be good up to 1 year and can be used regularly with no side effects.
