Due to its cooling properties, it can help to cure piles constipation and blood in stools as a result of straining. If there is an inflammation in the anus due to constipation, you can add a teaspoon of Haritaki powder to warm water, mix and drink.

Haritaki water which is made with the following steps –
- Boil water in a vessel.
- Crush Haritaki and add to the boiling water.
- Allow to boil for about 5-8 minutes.
- Strain and drink.
