cure sore throat with ginger

Ginger has an important place in the kitchen. In addition to its flavor, ginger also provides various health benefits such as improving digestion, alleviating symptoms of nausea, improving immunity and improving respiratory health. This recipe focuses on using ginger to cure sore throat. A usual home remedy to cure sore throat is using a warm salt water gargle a few times a day. This soothes throat and provides relief. Instead of as a gargle, salt is combined with ginger and is consumed to cure sore throat.

Benefits of ginger for respiratory health:

Ginger, lemon and honey can be mixed together and can be consumed in small quantities through the day to reduce the symptoms of common cold and flu. The vitamin C present in lemon can help to speed up and works well to fight flu.

Dry ginger and honey is very effective in reducing cough.

When a toddler has wet cough, take 250 ml warm water, 1/4 teaspoon dry ginger powder and 1 teaspoon honey. Mix well together and give this water to drink. It is better to drink slowly (sip and drink) so that the honey and dry ginger can soothe the throat and help to reduce cough.

Ginger tea is very popular to provide relief from headache, common cold and flu. A cup of ginger tea a few times a day can help to energize the body and can also provide relief from headache. It is also effective in clearing a nose block.

In addition to the above, ginger has traditionally been used to treat indigestion, to reduce nausea and vomiting and to promote overall health. When topically applied, the extract of ginger can cure stings by insects. It is also very good to treat fatigue and make you feel healthy.
