Bermuda grass juice (Arugampul) for health – DIY

    1. Use fresh Bermuda grass for this recipe. Chop off the roots before you begin.
    2. Chop the grass into smaller pieces to blend easily.
    3. You will need two hands full of Bermuda grass to make enough juice for two.
    4. Transfer the grass to a colander.
    5. Wash the grass well. This is an important step since this grass typically grows on the roadside which are sold by street vendors. So washing well is necessary.
    6. Place the washed and cleaned grass in a blender.
    7. Add cumin seeds to it.
    8. Pour enough water so that the grass and cumin seeds can blend well.
    9. Blend till you have this juice.
    10. Strain using a suitable strainer.
    11. Add two teaspoons of honey and stir well.
    12. Drink twice a week for good results!
    Recipe Notes

    If you are not able to find fresh Bermuda grass, you can use dried Bermuda grass powder.

    Mix a teaspoon of the powder in warm water, add honey and drink twice a week.

    Too much consumption of Arugampul may cause diarrhoea in some. So restrict consumption to twice or thrice a week.
