Improve hair growth with hibiscus serum – DIY

Hair loss or hair fall and other hair related problems are very common condition and most of the people get affected at some point of time. One of the simple and ancient methods to promote hair growth is regular use of hibiscus for hair. Hibiscus is a plant which cures almost every problem of our hair. Hibiscus leaves and flowers are highly beneficial for hair growth. Hibiscus stimulates hair growth, rejuvenates the scalp by promoting blood circulation in the head.

Take 30 to 40 fresh hibiscus leaves, blend them and make fine paste. Heat olive oil in a pan, add hibiscus leaves paste. Those who are prone to cold can add half a teaspoon of black pepper to the oil. Add one teaspoon of fenugreek seeds. We all know fenugreek seeds are good for hair growth and it helps stop hair fall. Boil the oil for five to seven minutes in low flame. Remove from heat and allow the oil to get cool. Strain and store the oil in a container. Apply this hair oil regularly on scalp and hair. This reduces hair fall and promote hair growth.

In ayurveda, hibiscus is considered as a medicinal herb and its roots, leaves and flowers are useful in treating number ailments. Hibiscus flowers and leaves are used to treat multiple hair problems. Regular use of hibiscus leaves on hair prevents hair loss, premature greying, promotes hair growth, stops split ends, reduces oiliness on hair, reduces redness and itching, gives hair a boost of shine and bounce.

Olive oil has all essential nutrients along with mono-unsaturated fatty acids which are all needed to promote growth. Applying olive oil on the hair reduces hair fall, strengthens roots, help thickens the hair strands and improves blood circulation.

Like hibiscus leaves, fenugreek seeds are effective as a natural remedy for hair growth. Fenugreek contains the compound called nicotinic acid which is very helpful in promoting hair growth.
