Figs are very famous for their health benefits. It is good for anyone to chew on 3 or 4 pieces every day. They grow on Ficus tree that belongs to the Mulberry family. Figs range from light green to black in various color shades. But all have the same property.

So when a diabetic patient has a craving to eat sweet, they can choose to eat figs. But not the dried ones. When fig is dried, the sugar levels in it get concentrated and it will trouble the sugar levels in your body. Always try to find fresh figs to consume.
