Celery garlic juice to build immunity – DIY

A juice made using celery stalks and garlic is helpful to build immunity of your kids in a healthy way. This juice is simple to make and is suitable for kids from the age of 4.

Health benefits of Celery

Celery can supply substantial amounts of nutrition in the form of vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants.

It improves the immune system and helps to fight effectively against various diseases. Due to the presence of anti-oxidants, it can prevent respiratory infections that are common in children.

Regulates bowel movements and can prevent digestive disorders. Indigestion and constipation can be prevented by consumption of celery. You can also make salads with celery and have them eat it. But that’s a little tricky! You can enhance the taste using onions and yogurt.

Health benefits of Garlic

Garlic has excellent amounts of anti-oxidants that can boost immunity in children. This makes them more resistant to diseases and especially respiratory disorders such as cough, cold and flu. This is the most common problem that affects children and garlic is proven to fight such infections effectively.

The properties of garlic helps to fight bad cholesterol, burns fat and thereby keeps children away from obesity.

Regular consumption garlic can safeguard from common health issues which include high blood pressure and diabetes.

Garlic can improve digestion, boost metabolism and can improve appetite of kids. This will make them eat properly. It also helps to prevent gastric problems and heartburn.

Cloves of garlic contain Allicin, Vitamin C, Selenium and Quercetin which helps to improve eye sight and treat infections in the eye.

Garlic when consumed in the raw form is very helpful to treat respiratory disorders. It can also prevent problems such as Asthma.

Here is the recipe for the celery garlic drink. You can use celery stalks predominantly and some leaves for the flavour.
