When I start thinking about potato, immediately the tasty crispy potato fries, potato curries and potato chips come to my mind. But many of us do not know the great health benefits that potatoes have to offer.
Potato belongs to the nightshade family and there are 100 varieties of potatoes available in different sizes, shapes, and colours like white, yellow and blue. Though they differ in shapes and colours, they have similar functions while they work in our body.
Potatoes are good in antioxidants, contain vitamin C, fibre, vitamin B6, carotenoids, anthocyanins, calcium, and magnesium, zinc, iron and phosphorous. The nutrient value may change depending upon the variety. Many think that eating potatoes promotes weight gain. Regularly eating anything in an irresponsible way leads to weight gain and other health problems. Actually, adding potatoes to our diet in a moderate level is always good for our health. Research also shows that potatoes when prepared in a healthy way becomes a part of any weight loss plan. Studies have also suggested that increasing consumption of plant foods decreases the risk of obesity, diabetes and heart diseases. It increases energy, improves complexion, it is good for hair and for overall health.

How to use:
- Take potato juice, add rice flour to it on that and mix it well.
- It must be watery.
