Sesame seeds (especially black sesame seeds) have been used for decades to treat amenorrhea and delayed menstruation. Sesame seeds can be mixed with jaggery and consumed to induce periods. For this particular remedy, egg yolk and almonds are used along with sesame seeds to induce periods in girls with delayed puberty.
